THEOPPORTUNITY:
We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Port Coquitlam Team as a full time Estimator! AsamemberofourEstimatingTeam,youwillgainpracticalknowledgeoflocalFire&LifeSafetyregulations;,ourservices,andourcustomercentricapproachtobestsupportourclientsandinternalteams.AsanEstimatoryouwillberesponsibleforcreatingquotationsfordeficienciesandrepairsresultingfromannualinspections,servicecalls,repairvisits,andregularmaintenancevisits.Youwillcollaboratecloselywithourbusinessdevelopmentandoperationsteamstoensureseamlessprojectexecutionandclientsatisfaction.Thispositionoffersanexcitingopportunitytocontributetothegrowthandsuccessofourorganizationwhileworkinginadynamicandcollaborativeenvironment.

Objectives&ResponsibilitiesoftheEstimator;:

Convertinspectionreportsintoapresentableformatforourclientsbyreviewing,editing,andfinalizingdata.





Createquotationsbasedonnoteddeficiencies/repairsontheinspectionreportsand/orworkscopes.

Createthequotation/proposalcoverletter.

Liaisewithsuppliersandvendorsforpricingasneeded.

CommunicateandcoordinatewithFieldTechnicianstoverifyinformationoninspectionreportand/orworkscopetoensureQuotationsareaccurateandallencompassing.

Followdepartmentguidelinesandmetricsasadvisedtoachievecompanystrategicgoals.

Assistandsupportinternaldepartmentsasrequired.

CollaboratewithAccountManagersandOperationsregardingspecialorurgentrequests.

Communicatecriticalinformationtocolleaguespertainingtovendors,products,equipment,pricing,andcompetitors.

Maintainclearandopenlinesofcommunicationwithinternalteammemberstocontributetoanefficientworkflowprocess.

Adheretoandpromotethecompany'scorevalues,processes,policiesandOccupationalHealthandSafetyprotocols.

Experienceinorgeneral/technicalknowledgeoftheFirePreventionIndustryisconsideredanasset.

Excellenttimemanagementandtaskprioritizationskills;abilitytomanagevarioushighprioritytaskswhileplanningforandmeetingdeadlinesasneeded.

Resourcefulnatureandabilitytothinkcritically;abletoproactivelyproblem-solveandprovidecustomercentricfocusedsolutions.

MusthaveexcellentEnglishcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten).
