What we are looking for: As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will become an integral member of the interprofessional team responsible for providing compassionate, patient and family centered care at Oak Valley Health, supporting the department as an Discipline Lead.
What you bring to the role: As a member of a dynamic diagnostic system, you will provide hospital-wide patient care to adult, neonatal and pediatric patients. Your proficiency and knowledge of therapy and the related technologies will enable you to carry out ventilation following ABG protocols and the initiation and monitoring of non-invasive ventilation. A progressive approach of integrating the respiratory therapist into clinical care on the inpatient units makes you a valuable member of the interprofessional team.



You will also be a key member of the cardiac arrest, bronchoscopy, ERCP and high-risk delivery teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate a systematic approach to respiratory care including intubation, extubation, arterial line insertions, oxygen prescription and spirometry; rotations in the operating room will require special training and skill maintenance. MSH is a teaching site for Fanshaw College Respiratory Therapy program. The staff RRT will take an active role in the student education program including providing education and evaluation.
