Shift: day-evening-night

Start date: August 30-31 and September 1-20-21, 2025

Hourly rate: 65$/h

As a respiratory therapist in remote areas, your responsibilities will be:

Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments of patients

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders

Administer inhaled treatments and prescribed medications

Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly

Participate in educating patients and their families about respiratory care

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

Diploma in respiratory therapy





Prior experience in respiratory therapy (minimum 2 years) in a hospital setting

Neonatal and adult ventilation training

RCR and NRP up to date

Expertise in the operating room: must be comfortable in the operating room, assist the anesthesiologist, comfortable in contact with massive transfusion protocols, fluid resuscitation, and performing TIVA.

Be a member of the Quebec Order of Respiratory Therapists

Positive ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work in remote areas

Knowledge of the French language (advanced level).
