Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli items. You will play a crucial role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring cleanliness, and delivering a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties
Prepare and serve deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches with attention to quality and presentation.
Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the deli area according to food safety guidelines.
Handle food products safely and efficiently while adhering to all health regulations.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience
Previous experience in food service or a restaurant environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is essential.
Solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced setting.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
