FUNCTION SUMMARY : As a Senior Robotics Repair Technician, you will be responsible for support related to Kinova's product offerings. Among other duties, you will perform repairs and follow up on support requests to ensure our products are 100% functional and that their performance meets our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities : Perform repairs on Kinova products;
Electronic failure analysis;
Soldering and repair of electronic components;
Mechanical repair;
Perform the testing required to reproduce customer-reported issues, complete analyses to identify defective components, and carry out the necessary maintenance, repairs, and updates;
Perform the testing and calibration required to ensure our robotic products conform to their original specifications, and follow up with the production engineering group;
Complete the required internal documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 standards;




Contribute to the implementation and support of internal processes;
Conduct rigorous analyses of unusual problems involving rarely used practices;
Demonstrate robust autonomy in solving complex problems, requiring minimal supervision;
Apply in-depth technical expertise and contribute to the technical development of the team.
Requirements: College diploma (DEC) in electronics/mechanics, or other relevant experience;
One year of relevant experience;
Experience in or interest in robotics repair;
Interest in new technologies;
Ability to work in a team;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Strong sense of priorities and urgency;
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
