You are the technician customers trust and the expert who keeps the fleet rental-ready.You will be on the road, in the field, and on active job sites - diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of equipment in real-world conditions, working independently, and representing the company professionally in every interaction. If you are the kind of technician who takes pride in getting it right the first time and loves the variety that comes with field work, this is the role for you.What You'll DoHere's what a typical day involves:Diagnose, repair, and maintain the fleetDiagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and small engine issues to maintain rental readinessPerform preventive maintenance and inspectionsEnsure all equipment meets safety and quality standards before returning to rental serviceRespond to emergency service calls with urgencyPerform on-site repairs at customer job sites to minimize downtime and protect project timelinesSupport rental centre fleet readinessRotate across assigned rental centres on a scheduled and as-needed basis to support fleet readinessCoordinate effectively with rental centre colleaguesProactively identify equipment requiring significant attention and clearly communicate recommendationsRepresent the company in the fieldAct as the face of OnSite Rentals' professional, reliable, and solution-focused approachCommunicate clearly with customers about repair status, expected completion, and next stepsBuild trust through responsiveness and consistent follow-through that drives repeat businessManage your vehicle, tools, and documentationMaintain your service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to a high standardComplete accurate and timely work orders and service documentation using the company's technology platformConduct a daily pre-trip vehicle inspection and maintain compliance with all transportation requirementsOwn your safety in the fieldFollow all safety protocols and proceduresHandle fuels, fluids, and materials safely and responsiblyWhat You'll Work OnOur fleet is diverse and growing.
