Assignment:

Full-time 1.0 Educational Assistantposition
Duties to commence October 8, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
To provide support and assistance to diverse students in a grade 4-6 classroom setting
Qualifications and/or Assets:
Experience working with students with complex academic and behavioral needs
Effective oral and written communication skills
Calm and patient approach to working with students and solving problems
Experience with complex behaviors would be considered an asset
Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and support a dynamic learning environment
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
Solid interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Knowledge,



understanding and experience with ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and behavioral needs would be considered an asset
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented collaborative learning environment
Flexibility to work in a variety of programs
Flexibility to assist student with complex needs, not limited to personal hygiene, toileting etc.
