Child, Youth & Family Therapist, Island Park Therapy, Brockville, ON

Island Park Therapy is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, master's-level therapist who loves working with children, youth, and families. We offer in-person sessions in Brockville and virtual care across Ontario. Our practice specializes in child, youth, and family therapy and relationship work, and we're proud to offer neuroaffirming support for ADHD and autistic clients and their families.

Whether you're already in private practice or bringing experience from child protection, children's mental health, or schools, we'd love to hear from you. This role is a great fit for clinicians looking to add a few extra hours alongside full time or part-time employment, and it could also grow into a full caseload. Who you'll work with Our clients come to us for support with:

- Family conflict, separation, divorce, and co-parenting
- Children's mental health concerns, including anxiety, emotional regulation, and behavioural difficulties
- Teen mental health, self-esteem, and developmental transitions
- School stress, social difficulties, and peer conflict
- Grief, loss, and difficult or traumatic experiences
- Blended family and life transitions
- Parenting support and family dynamics
- Neuroaffirming support for ADHD and autistic children, youth, and families

What you'll do

- Provide individual therapy for children and youth,



along with family sessions and parenting support as appropriate
- Offer neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care
- Keep clinical documentation accurate and up to date in Jane.
- Take part in team meetings, case consultation, and collaborative care

What you bring

- A master's degree in a relevant field, plus few years of post-graduate clinical experience with children, youth, and families
- Registration (or eligibility) with a regulatory college or professional association (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW)
- Experience in child protection, children's mental health agencies, schools, hospitals, or other child- and family-serving settings is welcome and counts toward your experience
- Ability to offer some evening and/or weekend availability, since after-school appointments are in high demand
- Training in play therapy, art/expressive therapies, EMDR, or somatic approaches is an asset
