We are actively recruiting for a Personal Support Worker for a female employer that requires support with all activities of daily living.

The employer is a quiet individual, that enjoys reading and spending time with her dog.

Location:
Vancouver, BC

Shifts and hours:
a few days a week (to be decided upon hire)
9:00AM to 12:00PM
Employer can be somewhat flexible with shift start and end times for the right candidate

Compensation:
$24.00 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Daily personal care such as showering, performing skin checks and dressing assistance (Compression socks)
Bowel routine, suppository and occasional disimpaction
Support moving the wheelchair beside the bed (Employer transfers herself)
Light housekeeping such as dusting, clean bathroom, vacuuming and laundry
Meal preparation
Assistance with setting up work station

Required Qualifications:
Willingness to learn
Experience with suppository/dis-impaction an asset
Must be comfortable with bowel routines




Robust command of English/Strong communicator
Comfortable in an environment with dogs (They will be in a different room during shift)

Pay: $24.00 per hour
