G&R; Kelly is looking for an experienced and dependable Class 1 or Class 3 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.

This is a hands-on position where drivers may also be required to assist with general jobsite duties when they are not operating the truck.

Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Nova Scotia Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
Valid Air Brake Endorsement
Valid Float Endorsement
Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
Clean and satisfactory driver’s abstract




Ability to safely load and secure excavators and other heavy equipment onto a float without assistance
Knowledge of Halifax and surrounding areas
Strong knowledge of safe driving and equipment-handling practices
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction workplace
Willingness to complete a criminal background check
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Be willing to help with general jobsite duties when not operating the truck

Have good knowledge of local roads, construction sites, and gravel pits
Take pride in maintaining equipment and keeping the work area protected and organized
Be available outside of regular working hours for emergency work, nights, and weekends as required

Compensation & Benefits
