Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and experienced Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is confident working in a busy dental office, provides excellent patient care, and is committed to maintaining a qualified and welcoming setting.

Monday to Friday and some pre-scheduled Saturdays.

Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
Follow all Ontario IPAC guidelines and office protocols.
Clean, disinfect, and prepare treatment rooms between patients.
Sterilize and process dental instruments according to established procedures.
Maintain proper sterilization records and monitor sterilization equipment.
Handle and dispose of sharps and biomedical waste appropriately.
Ensure treatment areas and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.




Monitor inventory and notify the office manager when supplies need to be ordered.
Assist with dental laboratory cases and tracking.

Requirements
Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II).
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Knowledge of Ontario dental office infection prevention and control (IPAC) standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualified, punctual, and dependable.
Experience with Open Dental dental software is an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate
Toronto, ON M4S 1Z7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
