We are a small laid back office looking for a part time Certified Dental Assistant to join our team Part time.
Please only apply if you have prior dental experience in assisting or are a Certified Dental Assistant recent grads are welcome to apply. Wage will be discussed at time of interview.
Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions as well as take impressions
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization protocols are followed diligently.
Manage patient flow by greeting patients as they arrive, updating medical histories, and answering questions about procedures.
Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures and infection control standards.
Robust understanding of medical terminology
Harp Certified and able to take x-rays
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Knowledge of sterilization techniques
Pay: $1.00-$2.00 per hour Expected hours: 21.0 per week
