The Toronto Transit

Commission is looking for seven apprentices eager to undergo an 8000-hour training program in electrical systems. You will be trained on equipment maintenance and safety standards critical to the transit sector. As part of the apprenticeship, you will also develop your skills in compliance with industry regulations while fostering an workplace of respect and accessibility for all. Key Responsibilities:
Engage in a 8000-hour comprehensive training program
Maintain and construct high voltage electricity systems




Operate TTC’s Power Control Centre effectively
Follow safety protocols and TTC’s established guidelines
Complete required external and in-house trainings Requirements:
Must have a Grade 12 or equivalent education
Current, valid Ontario class “G” Driver's License
Passed relevant electrical aptitude assessments
Knowledge of human rights and accessibility codes
