About the Role Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fundraising Events Planner to conceptualize, organize, and execute successful fundraising events in the Kimberley area. This role is pivotal in generating vital funds and increasing community engagement for our client's charitable causes. You will manage all aspects of event planning, from initial ideation to post-event analysis. This position offers a hybrid work structure, allowing for productive remote planning and essential in office coordination within Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and community gatherings.
Develop event budgets, manage expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
Secure venues, vendors, and entertainment, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service.
Manage event logistics, including registration, staffing, catering, and AV requirements.
Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies for events.
Oversee event set-up, execution,



and tear-down, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
Requirements Proven experience in event planning and management, with a focus on fundraising events.
Strong project management, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with the event landscape and vendor community in Kimberley .
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work effectively in a hybrid setting.
Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
