Wild Wing at Canlan is currently looking for a Shift Supervisor.
JOB SUMMARY Our hands on F&B; Shift Supervisors oversee the day to day operations of the Wild Wing restaurant in a professional manner. They provide leadership for all staff ensuring that efficient food service preparation and presentation consistently exceed guest expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all opening closing procedures are completed shift dependentEnsure there are no variances in cash or inventories during the shiftMaintain knowledge of and actively promote menu beverages and current promotionsReceive product delivery and ensure protected sanitary and secure storage when requiredEnsure team maintains or exceeds guest expectations in a cost effective mannerCover team roles shifts when requiredFront of house operations Restaurant and BarHandle payments and gratuities make change and process all transactions Sky Tab System accuratelyApply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipmentBack of house operations KitchenCompetent in the use and care of kitchen tools and equipmentApply basic knowledge of food preparation in keeping with standardized recipes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION Smart Serve Serving It Right or equivalent requiredFood Safe Certification preferredHigh school graduation.
ABILITIES ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE At least three years Food & Beverage experiencePrior team leadership background preferredOutgoing positive and team orientatedExperienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system Sky Tab preferredWillingness and ability to work flexible hours evenings & weekends.
