We are seeking a motivated and dependable 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 5-ton truck to transport freight and equipment across various locations. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations.

Duties
Safely operate a 5-ton truck to deliver freight, equipment, and supplies to designated destinations
deliver appliance and Furniture to customers with a helper
invice and report issues to dispatch
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues before or after trips




Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure protected transportation at all times
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups

Skills
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience handling freight shipments with attention to safety and accuracy
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
have a minimum of 1 year of appliance delivery experience
