Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.As a core member of our Investor Relations team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.ResponsibilitiesYour Role:The Vice President will work directly as a partner of the Senior Vice President of Private Equity in the overall management of the PE IR department to deliver the following responsibilities listed below.Client Relationship Management:Adopt a pro-active role in establishing Citco as a partnerThink strategically and assess potential impact on operational capacity when assessing client (internal/external) requirementsUnderstand current client needs/strategies and anticipate future client needsDeliver innovated solutions to clientsDevelop and sustain client relationship by initiating communication on a regular basis, both by telephone and in personRespect client confidentiality and sensitivity of information sharedKeep customer (internal/external) informed of trends and issues relevant to their servicesMaintain a pro-active customer focus at all timesConstantly review client utilization of deliverables; eliminate unnecessary service where appropriateEnhance current servicing levels,



deliver beyond client expectationsDevelop and implement best practice on all processes; eliminate non-value-added tasksEstablish and document business contingency plans for all areas of responsibilityFacilitate new business installations, managing all phases ensuring timely and accurate completionFinancial and Risk Management:Budget preparation and in managing costs within the departmentEnsure full adherence and implementation of the corporate and local risk policy, manage and minimize claimsEnsure all control procedures and internal reporting requirements are metAssess and monitor the operational risks in the departmentMonitor risk reporting to ensure adherence to department’s proceduresResource and Staff Management:Direct report managerial - development, coaching and succession planning including the completion of performance reviews and individual development plansDevelop management and technical skills of managersProvide staff management support to the managers, assisting them to effectively deal with staff issuesCreate an environment that motivates rewards and supports staffActively participate in the recruitment processLeadership Skills:Set challenging team goals and empower people to achieve themKeep people focused on critical goals and deadlines through frequent and consistent communicationMotivate people by creating a high performance environment that is both challenging and excitingPromote and support change initiatives within the businessActively contribute to corporate initiatives as part of the management teamOther:Private Equity experienceKeep up to date on legislative requirements and standardsBe acutely aware of changing market, impact on existing and potential client baseGain detailed knowledge and understanding of Citco’s products, policies and proceduresParticipate in projects that will enhance the delivery of service to our clients, as well as offer opportunity for staff and self-developmentParticipate in organizational strategic initiativesQualificationsAbout You:You have the ability to manage all aspects of a team and/or teams – leadership, coaching, recruitment, team building, problem resolution, motivation, training and development of staff and managers.You have good liaison skills across all levels of the organization.You possess extensive experience in all aspects of client servicing.You have a solid understanding of the finance industry and financial markets.You have previous experience gained within an Investor Relations/Unit Registry environment.Salary Range: CAD $105,000 - CAD $145,000This posting is for an existing vacancyYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
