Join The Salvation Army as a Compassionate Justice Support Worker and positively impact the lives of individuals in need. This role requires dedication to fostering a supportive and respectful residential environment for men coming out of federal prisons.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all residents receive the necessary support, addressing both their needs and participation in rehabilitation programs. You will conduct regular checks, document resident behaviors, and uphold a nurturing community atmosphere. Partnering with a Case Management Team, you will ensure residents understand available resources and receive the supervision they require.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for residents
• Monitor resident activities and document behaviors




• Facilitate medical assistance and referrals
• Maintain compliance with program policies
d• Conduct fire drills and security checks
Requirements:
• Two-year college program in Corrections or Social Services
• Minimum one year experience with parolees
• Certification in Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR
• Robust ability to maintain confidentiality
• Awareness of cultural differences and community needs
