Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our agile team. Preference will be given to those already apprenticed in the trade (or a similar trade)

As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance within a dealership environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and repairs.

Preference will be given to those who have automotive (or heavy duty) experience.

Responsibilities
Assist in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, following established procedures and guidelines.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform various automotive tasks, including assembly and maintenance.
Learn to read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
Support senior technicians in performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.




Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Participate in training sessions to enhance automotive knowledge and technical skills.

Skills
Solid mechanical knowledge with a passion for automotive repair.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the automotive industry.
Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
Understanding of schematics related to automotive systems.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
