This role plays a critical part in maintaining optimal environmental conditions to support operational efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance.**Key Responsibilities*** Install, inspect, service, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across greenhouse, production, and storage environments* Monitor, maintain, and optimize environmental control systems, including temperature, humidity, ventilation, and airflow* Diagnose mechanical, electrical,



and control system issues and implement timely and effective corrective actions* Execute preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan* Operate and troubleshoot automated systems, including sensors, control panels, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)* Ensure proper air quality, filtration, and environmental conditions are consistently maintained across the facility* Calibrate and maintain thermostats, humidistats, and environmental monitoring equipment* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to support installation and repairs* Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation* Ensure adherence to all safety standards, environmental regulations, and site-specific biosecurity protocols* Provide technical guidance and training to operations staff on HVAC system functionality and best practices* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including energy efficiency and system optimization projects**Qualifications and Education Requirements****Required:*** Diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration,



or a related field* Valid HVAC/refrigeration license (as required by provincial regulations)* Minimum 5 years of experience in an HVAC role* Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems* Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office* Due to the nature of the business and working with controlled substances, all new employees will be required to complete a background check prior to starting work.
