About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers and takes pride in providing exceptional service.

As a key member of our team, you will help customers, technicians, and internal teams identify, source, order, receive, and track the parts needed to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include:

Responding to parts inquiries and assisting customers in person, by telephone and by email

Identifying, sourcing and locating parts, including non-stock and hard-to-find items

Proactively seeking sales opportunities, including cold calling and upselling.

Customer or supplier negotiation skills.

Preparing accurate quotes, invoices and customer statements

Processing sales, returns, warranties, core returns, purchase orders and other parts transactions in accordance with company policies.

Processing and following up on orders, quotes and backorders

Monitoring purchase orders, backorders, transfers and open orders, and following them through to completion.

Keeping customers informed of order status, availability and expected delivery dates

Monitoring shortages and working with suppliers to expedite orders

Coordinating shipments and special delivery requests

Receiving,



verifying and organizing incoming inventory

Investigating and resolving shipping, receiving and inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.

Maintaining appropriate inventory levels and supporting inventory counts

Ensuring that shipping, receiving, returns and other parts-related transactions are documented accurately

Completing occasional local parts pickups or deliveries

Supporting service technicians and the Parts Manager as required

Working closely with the Service Department and other internal teams to support daily operations

Following all company health and safety policies, procedures and protected-work practices.

What You Bring
Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a parts, inventory, service, automotive, heavy equipment, or related mechanical parts environment is required.

Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, powersports, or another mechanical equipment parts/service environment is strongly preferred.

Experience using parts catalogues, inventory-management systems, ERP systems, or order-entry software is an asset.

Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and following up with customers or suppliers is an asset.

Education and certifications

High school diploma or equivalent





Valid driver's licence

Forklift certification is an asset; training may be provided

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment

Comfortable working with computers, inventory systems, and technical parts information.

Initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic

An interest in mechanical equipment and learning how parts and systems work

Additional Position Details

This position is based at our Abbotsford, BC location and must be performed on-site

Candidates must be able to commute reliably to the workplace or relocate before starting the position

Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or inventory counts
