About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Remote Renewable Energy Policy Advisor to contribute to shaping the future of sustainable energy. This role is pivotal in analyzing and influencing policies related to renewable energy development and implementation. Working entirely remotely , you will research regulatory landscapes, engage with stakeholders, and provide expert advice to support the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and interpret renewable energy policies , regulations, and market trends at national and regional levels.

Develop policy recommendations and advocacy strategies to support the growth of renewable energy.

Engage with government agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to represent the company's policy interests.

Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Monitor legislative developments and assess their potential impact on the company's operations and investments.

Collaborate virtually with legal, strategy,



and business development teams to align policy efforts with company goals from a remote perspective.

Requirements

Master's degree or PhD in Public Policy, Law, Environmental Science, Economics, or a related field with a focus on energy.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in energy policy analysis , government relations, or advocacy, with a focus on renewables.

Deep understanding of the renewable energy sector , including policy frameworks, market mechanisms, and technological trends.

Exceptional research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Proven ability to communicate complex policy issues clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment.
