Join a Capital Markets technology team supporting a legacy Payment Hub Foreign Exchange platform critical to backend payment processing. This role focuses on hands-on Golang development, application maintenance, testing support, and production deployment across the full software delivery lifecycle. The position offers end-to-end ownership of backend development initiatives while contributing technical direction and mentorship within a smaller development team. Candidates will work closely with established payment systems and supporting business domains in a high-visibility setting.

Must Haves

6-8 years of software development experience

2-3 years of hands-on Go (Golang) backend application development

Test-Driven Development and comprehensive unit test suite development

Snyk , SonarQube , and static code analysis or vulnerability scanning tools

Technical leadership, mentorship, or development guidance experience within software development teams

Nice to Have

Awareness of AI-assisted or AI-driven software development tools and practices

Exposure to payment applications, foreign exchange platforms, or Capital Markets technology environments

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Go (Golang)





Take ownership of development deliverables from requirements analysis through testing and production deployment

Understand existing application architecture, business domain, dependencies, and supporting systems

Support development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, implementation, and production release activities

Lead smaller projects or application initiatives independently

Provide technical direction, mentorship, and development guidance to team members

Use static code analysis and security scanning tools to address code quality and vulnerability concerns
