A full-time internship within the Jr. Developer Program that lasts for a year.

A adaptable arrangement that allows you to work part time during the academic year and full time during the summer.

Around 16 hours per week in the academic year and 40 hours per week in the summer .

Located in Victoria, BC, which has an active community of junior developers

Responsibilities

Develop, write, and keep up the software used in actual Amazon systems.

Work together with skilled engineers on the current project.

Make contributions in the form of code and design solutions for complicated technical issues.

Join in on the regular mentoring activities and performance evaluations.

Get involved with the junior developer community and the team’s events

Requirements

Studying in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.

Expected graduation: June 2028 or later
Year-round work availability until graduation.

Earliest starting time: March 2026
Physically present at the Victoria, BC corporate office (no remote/hybrid).

Residing within commuting range of Victoria, BC.

Having programming experience in at least one modern language (Java, Python, or C++) with OOP concepts.

Having prior technical internship experience.

Ability to communicate technical problems and solutions clearly.

Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in uncertain situations.
