0.4 FTE Indigenous Support Teacher (Tuesday & Thursday)

Temporary: Immediately – December 18, 2026, or full return of the incumbent

NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date, or it may be extended.

Qualifications:

BC Certification

Bachelor of Education or equivalent

Experience with a variety of learning management systems

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team workplace

Demonstrated ability to support classroom teachers with the embedding of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in student learning experiences for all students

Demonstrated ability to implement programs and services to assist with academic, personal,



and social-emotional needs

Demonstrated ability to connect with families to build effective communication between home, school, and community supports

Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $64,012 to $118,237, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
