In this temporary full time position, you will join the Eating Disorders Program, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to assist patients. Your responsibilities will include assessments, psychoeducation on trauma, and facilitating therapeutic groups. By collaborating with a diverse team, you will contribute to comprehensive patient care to address various mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual assessments for eating disorders
• Deliver CBT and related therapies to clients
• Facilitate specific psychotherapy groups as assigned
• Perform psychoeducation focused on mental health topics
• Support operational effectiveness within your department
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Health/Social Sciences or equivalent
• Licensure with an Ontario psychotherapy body
• Proven experience with eating disorders and trauma
• Certification in CBT or DBT is an asset
• Ability to deliver culturally-sensitive care
