Part-Time HR Generalist
We're looking for an HR Generalist to join our amazing team! Specifically, we are looking for someone passionate about all aspects of HR who thrives on change and variety. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced HR professionals while gaining exposure to a multitude of different companies across numerous industries.
Work Hours This is a part-time position with anticipated fluctuating work hours averaging 25 to 30 hours per week. This role is well suited for candidates who value flexibility and are comfortable adjusting their hours periodically to support team priorities and workload demands. Future scheduling needs may create opportunities for additional hours, depending on business and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities The focus of the HR Generalist role will be to:
Create, review and update client policies, handbooks, and other documents to ensure they are compliant with the relevant legislation as well as best practice
Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
Provide advice on performance and disciplinary issues
Provide payroll support
Mentor internal HR Coordinators
Assist with the administration and facilitation of terminations and suspensions per client needs
Coordinate employee and/or disability leaves
Administer training sessions and/or seminars
Keep current with existing and proposed laws and regulations affecting HR practices
Assist with specialized projects such as job descriptions, compensation reviews, HR audits, and HRIS implementations
Provide recruitment support
Provide benefits administration support
Initiate strategic planning, reinforce processes, and ensure compliance
Other HR & Administrative tasks, as required
The Ideal Candidate The person we are looking for is an energetic individual who possesses the following:




Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Phenomenal attention to detail
Strong customer service skills
The ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to give and receive feedback
Willingness to learn new technology and systems
The Minimum Qualifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources
3+ years of HR generalist experience
Payroll experience is considered an asset
CPHR designation, or interest in pursuing the designation, is considered an asset
PCP or CPM designation would be considered an asset
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is considered an asset
Access to reliable transportation to travel from site to site, as necessary
