In this 29.25 hours/week Education Assistant 2 role, you will report directly to the Principal within the Schools Department. Your key tasks will include supervising unstructured times, assisting with daily living skills, and participating in communications with parents. Engaging with students during activities and monitoring their progress will be crucial to foster their independence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with daily hygiene and positioning
• Observe and document student behavior accurately
• Help prepare materials for classroom instruction




• Facilitate community activities and school events
• Resolve minor disputes and report significant issues

Requirements:
• High school diploma is essential
• Six college/university courses about child behavior
• Experience working with exceptional needs youth is required
• Valid British Columbia driver’s license may be beneficial
• Skill in maintaining confidentiality and teamwork
