EMSL is seeking a Sales Assistant in Ottawa, ON. The ideal candidate has a customer service background and the ability to learn quickly and work with complex systems. This position will be on-site and based out of the following locations:Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Assist with incoming as well as follow up outbound Phone Calls and emails to/from customersTrouble shooting client issues related to due dates, reports, pricing, invoices, scheduling, etc.Arrange/set up client and/or client prospect appointments for Account ManagerGenerate and qualify leads by placing outbound calls to qualified prospectsData Entry and maintenance of hotlists, communications, documents in our CRM ProgramCreate /send follow up marketing materials and/or sales proposals/quoteRequirements:High school degree or equivalentBachelor's degree in Science or Business preferred,



but not requiredAuthorization to work in Canada indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipTwo years work experience requiredExperience with high volume customer serviceAbility to interface with clients and foster current and new relationshipsMust have excellent phone etiquetteScience knowledge/background is a plus but not requiredMust be able to prioritize work assignments and work in fast paced settingMust be proficient in computer systems for Client Relationship Management Databases (CRM) and Shopping Cart Order SystemsMust have excellent communication (written and verbal)Willingness to learn and ability to multi-taskHours:Position is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Ottawa, ON are encouraged to applyEMSL Canada offers supplemental perks and paid time off.
