Become an Indigenous Grad Coach at NNDSB, starting October 1, 2026. This role seeks to empower Indigenous students through cultural connections and resources.

The Near North District School Board is hiring for an LTO position to promote awareness of Indigenous perspectives among students. Successful applicants will need a valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate and Intermediate qualifications. Responsibilities include supporting at-risk learners and integrating technology into instruction and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Connect students and families with Indigenous resources
• Advocate for Literacy and Numeracy across the school
• Utilize EDSBY to track and support student progress




• Integrate technology in the evaluation of student work
• Work collaboratively with the educational team

Requirements:
• Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate and Registration
• Intermediate teaching qualifications required
• Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions
• Experience with Apple devices and educational software
• Awareness of diverse learning needs, especially for at-risk students
