Bird Construction seeks an HSE Coordinator for on-site safety leadership in Victoria, BC. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a robust safety culture.

In this role, you will report to the HSE Manager and be responsible for the implementation of the Bird Safety Program. Your expertise will help in identifying hazards, managing reports, and conducting inspections. You will actively contribute to a healthy safety environment for personnel and will be involved in the planning of safe practices for current projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Bird Safety Program with site supervision
• Conduct daily safety inspections and report findings
• Provide safety training and maintain accurate records




• Assist in onboarding for site personnel
• Maintain HSE statistics and compliance documentation

Requirements:
• OH&S; certification or diploma from a recognized institution
• Valid Level 2 or 3 First Aid certificate
• 3-5 years of experience in HSE within construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
