Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping to manage daily store operations, leading a team of sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, and assisting the store manager and owners with daily projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective time management, and a passion for retail sales.

As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and maintaining the overall efficiency of the store.

Duties

- Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Help supervise and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Help train new employees on store policies, procedures, and best practices in customer engagement.
- Stock merchandise.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Implement promotional strategies to enhance sales and attract new customers.
- Assist the General Manager and Owners with conducting regular performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment.




- Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong skills in time management, and retail sales techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.
- Proficient in supervising staff while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
