We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofing Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the roofing process, assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. Duties

- Assist with the installation and repair of roofing materials, including shingles, metal panels, and membranes
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and screwdrivers to prepare surfaces and secure roofing components
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and equipment safely around the job site
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans to understand project specifications
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofing systems
- Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural adjustments as needed




- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and roofing projects
- Prior construction experience, especially in roofing or related trades
- Strong carpentry skills for framing, cutting, and fitting materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or climbing during work shifts
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in handling various tasks on-site
