Job Description
1 Year Contract With A Local Authority
Job Purpose

To lead the delivery of a portfolio of strategic housing transformation,



redesign and service improvement programmes across Housing Operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The postholder will provide dedicated programme leadership and change management expertise to support the Housing Directorate’s large-scale service redesign programme, coordinating stakeholders, managing governance arrangements, monitoring risks and dependencies, and ensuring the successful implementation of organisational change.

Working closely with Housing Leadership, HR and corporate services, the role will support the development of business cases, operating models, improvement plans and change documentation to deliver sustainable and effective service transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of a portfolio of housing transformation, redesign and service improvement projects.

Develop and maintain comprehensive programme plans, project plans and implementation schedules.

Coordinate the Housing Redesign Programme and ensure delivery against key milestones and objectives.

Map, monitor and manage programme dependencies, interdependencies and critical paths.

Produce business cases, cases for change and supporting documentation to underpin service transformation proposals.

Support the review and redesign of housing structures, operating models and service delivery arrangements.

Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Establish and maintain effective project governance arrangements and reporting structures.

Track programme risks, issues, actions and decisions, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented....
