Help youth on their recovery journey at KOBE as a Youth Residential Worker. This role focuses on providing supervision and structured support during detox for ages 13-21.
At KOBE, within the Student Services Program, you will work under the Safe Sober Site Lead to provide essential detoxification services. Your role is to ensure that care plans are adequately followed while supporting students in their after-care processes. Collaboration with health service providers will play a key role in your daily activities, ensuring youth receive utmost care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe, culturally relevant environment for youth
• Maintain regular communication with KOBE On-Call Workers
• Coordinate with Health Services for treatment adherence
• Provide timely health care service reports to the Well-Being Team
• Assist in after-care logistics and contacts
Requirements:
• 2 years of education-related experience
• College Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience
• Solid communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid Class G Driver’s License
• Must pass a Vulnerable Persons check
