The Canada TV team drives Apple's television business strategy across the region, working hand-in-hand with studios, carriers, and MVPDs. In this role, you'll be a central contributor to both the daily health of the business and its longer‑term strategic direction — bringing analytical rigour, partnership management, and cross-functional coordination to bear on real growth outcomes.
About the Role: Apple TV Business Manager
This position combines commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex, senior‑level external relationships. Day to day, you'll be tracking business performance, building executive‑ready presentations, synthesizing data into strategic recommendations, and collaborating across Apple's internal teams as well as with key external partners. The work spans forecasting and variance analysis, partnership governance, and contributing to long‑range planning cycles.
You’ll report to the TV Leads and collaborate closely with cross‑functional groups across Apple — meaning your ability to balance competing priorities, communicate clearly at the executive level, and move fluidly between strategic thinking and operational detail will be tested regularly. Attention to data integrity, performance metrics, and market intelligence is central to how this team operates.
Benefits and Salary
The base pay range for this role is $129,800 to $194,800 , with your specific pay determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple notes that qualified candidates can expect a hiring rate up to the midpoint, with exceptional candidates eligible for pay up to the range maximum.
Beyond base salary, Apple employees may be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan to purchase Apple stock at a discount. As the Apple TV Business Manager for Canada, your work spans the full commercial lifecycle — from tracking day‑to‑day business performance to informing multi‑year strategic planning. You'll be expected to move comfortably between detailed data analysis and high‑level executive communication, always keeping business growth and partnership outcomes front of mind.
Drive business performance through forecasting, variance analysis, and cross‑functional reporting within a fast‑paced environment
Build and manage complex, senior‑level partnerships with studios, carriers, MVPDs, and comparable organizations
Analyze complex data sets to identify meaningful insights and develop strong strategic recommendations for C‑suite and executive leadership
Create and deliver high‑impact, executive‑ready presentations that communicate business performance and strategic direction clearly
Collaborate cross‑functionally across Apple's internal teams and with key external partners to implement programs that achieve business objectives
Contribute to long‑range strategic planning cycles and customer segmentation models
Monitor competitive landscape and synthesize market intelligence into actionable growth strategies
Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau to build dashboards and track key business metrics
Requirements / Skills
Apple is looking for a candidate who brings deep experience in business performance management within digital media or subscription‑based environments, combined with a demonstrated ability to manage senior external relationships. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a boardroom presenting to executives and in the weeds of a complex data set.
7+ years of experience managing business performance, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cross‑functional reporting
Proven track record of building and managing complex, senior‑level partnerships with studios, carriers, MVPDs, or comparable organizations
Deep commercial acumen with a strong understanding of business drivers, revenue models, and growth levers within a digital subscription, video streaming, or media business
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and articulate strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Proficiency in English is required; working knowledge of French is considered an asset
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred
Familiarity with content agreements, rights management, and deal structures within complex strategic partnerships is an asset
