We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills.Responsibilities:Serve as a key finance partner for Environmental Commodities team in ST&O;: understand key business value drivers and performance metrics, and providing insights that support business decisionsDevelop expertise in provincial and federal emission programs and their associated accounting and financial reporting implicationsSupport the team with executing the Emission Accounting month end cycle, including preparing journal entries, month end analysis and reconciliations, reporting on 3rd Party, intercompany, and balance sheet and expense positionsCollaborate closely with the Accounting Policy team to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied for evolving business activitiesPartner with stakeholders across Finance, Trading, Operations, and Compliance to identify and implement process improvements, enhance controls, system improvements, and financial analysis and business insightsLocation and other Key Details:You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to FridayOur business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of workThink we are a fit?
