About the Role
The Welder will be responsible for creating non‑pressure welds using MIG and TIG welding techniques and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Organizing tools and materials to ensure proper assembly of the required product.

Duties and Responsibilities

MIG/TIG production line welding.

Read and interpret blueprints or process specifications.

Recognize defective welds, knowing the cause, and repair procedure for the defective area or part.

Conducting checks to guarantee assigned equipment is operating and in valuable working order.

Prepare materials for welding, using magnet drill and hand grinders.

Effectively communicate with the Quality Control Team,



Shipper/Receiver, and other employees, or supervisors.

Maintain an organized work area and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored when not in use.

Ensure the assigned work area is clean and free from hazards.

Adhere to health and safety protocols, including always wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Required Abilities, Knowledge, Experience

A minimum of 2 years of welding experience preferred

Knowledge of welding techniques is a must.

Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through Lucid System.

Demonstrated ability to work to exact drawing and order specifications an asset.

Ability to read and follow instruction from order on Lucid System.

Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrates robust attention to detail to create the highest quality level products.

Experience using hand tools and equipment, along with experience using measuring.
