Candidates will oversee the content and production of the annual State of the City event.
They will review and approve proclamation requests, messages, letters of support and greetings prepared by City Administration.
They will assist with oversight of the Mayor’s schedule and coordination of all media related activities both internal and external.




They will protect the political interests, agenda, and vision of the Mayor.
Job requirement Candidates must have a University degree in Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Affairs, Marketing, Public Policy.
They must have a minimum of at least 5 years of direct work experience.
They must have experience leading a communications team, including working as a press secretary.
They must have demonstrated experience in communications planning.
They must have corporate communications experience.
They must have experience in the public service.
