We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Powerline Technician who holds a valid Journeyperson certificate and has hands-on experience in the field. Your knowledge of powerline construction and maintenance will be pivotal in driving our projects forward while fostering a commitment to safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain distribution systems according to specs
• Troubleshoot both overhead and underground lines
• Construct current powerlines and frame structures
• Support equipment setup for cable tensioning
• Ensure standardized safety practices are followed
Requirements:
• Red Seal certification or equivalent experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel frequently and work overtime
• Physically able to handle manual labour in varying conditions
