Yan Muirhead LLP is a rapid-paced litigation law firm, based in Vancouver, BC and we are looking to expand! We are a small team where we mix professionalism with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a senior paralegal that is warm, approachable and has a positive attitude.

Responsibilities
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
Assisting the lawyers with preparation for court hearings and trials
Managing files throughout all stages of the legal process and ensuring all deadlines are met
Assisting with court filings in Small Claims, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal
Preparing LTSA forms and completing filings with the LTO
Reviewing documents for production, and using our e-discovery software, Everlaw for preparing lists of documents




Maintaining the court calendar and the b/f system
Additional tasks as they arise

Qualifications
Paralegal certificate/diploma
Minimum of 5 years of working as a commercial litigation paralegal
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Time management skills and the ability to work independently

This is an in-office position based in Vancouver, British Columbia
