Generations Toronto and its management by AgeCare are looking for a skilled Cook for their long-term care residence. In this role, you will be responsible for prompt meal service, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining compliance with dietary requirements. You'll also address concerns from residents and families, promoting a culture of responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals based on residents' needs
• Ensure a clean, safe preparation area
• Check accuracy of special diet orders periodically
• Direct the activities of Food Services Workers as needed
• Manage resident or family inquiries appropriately

Requirements:
• Experience in a culinary supervisory capacity
• Hold a Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Diploma/certificate in food preparation required
• Education: minimum public school; high school preferred
• Canadian experience not necessary
