Scope

The Justice Technology Services – Digital Design Branch requires one (1) Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 5+ years experience for building a up-to-date digital information system and its integration with other internal and external applications.

Assignment Deliverables

The Justice Technology Services – Digital Design Branch requires one (1) Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 5+ years experience for building a modern digital information system and it’s integration with other internal and external applications.

Prepare appropriate level test cases for functional / unit testing

Perform functional / unit testing and document results

Assist other parties groups with their related testing activities (UAT)

Participate in Knowledge transfer

Experience Requirements
A Note on the VOR Master Service Agreement:
The VOR Master Service Agreement expires on April 5, 2027, and includes a six (6)-month survival clause, allowing the Statement of Work (SOW) to continue, if operationally required, until October 5, 2027. Extension(s) are only allowed using unused days and/or funds remaining on the contract. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW. JTS may exercise its option(s) to extend the SOW beyond April 5, 2027, in accordance with the survival clause.

The start date is subject to change based on security clearances and contract signing timelines.

Quality Assurance Skills

7+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants.

Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions.

Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions

Good analytical, communication skills and ability to work independently and also perform as part of a team.

Technical Skills

Hands on experiences with technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript

Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana.

Criteria 1: QA Skills – 40 Points

Demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants.

Criteria 2: Technical Skills – 30 Points





Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana.

Criteria 3: Business Skills – 25 Points

Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete

Criteria 4: Public Sector Experience – 5 Points

Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
