AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Controls System ACCIS Engineer to lead software engineering in nuclear instrumentation. This role combines remote and in-office work in a collaborative setting.

In this developmental position, you'll support design and implementation of digital control systems for CANDU power plants. Responsibilities span software design, coding, and testing in languages such as C, C++, and Java. Engage with diverse engineering teams to define system requirements and enhance software tools for safety-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute software engineering tasks for safety-related projects
• Develop and test applications using QNX and POSIX standards
• Evaluate vendor products and contribute to integrations




• Prepare documentation for software change requests
• Prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines efficiently

Requirements:
• Relevant engineering degree with Honours
• Experience in QNX OS and GUI applications development
• Understanding of UML and Object-Oriented Programming
• Familiarity with static analysis tools and databases
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
