We are also building deeper expertise and market presence in Healthcare, Agriculture, and Indigenous contexts.

As KASPRE continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team on a part-time contract basis. Hours available are anticipated to be between 15-20 hours per week on average. Some weeks may require more or less hours to meet client demand.

Pay Range

$125-$165 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Further opportunities to increase earnings come from commission on sales and bonuses based on internal company policy as established in the consulting contract.

The Senior Consultant is an experienced consulting professional who can take ownership of client relationships, lead consulting engagements, provide thoughtful advice, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys solving complex organizational challenges, working directly with senior decision-makers, facilitating important conversations, and helping clients move from uncertainty to practical action.

As a Senior Consultant, you will independently manage consulting projects from initiation through completion while collaborating with KASPRE’s Principal Consultants, Partners, Consultants, and specialist team members as required.

You may lead strategic planning processes, governance reviews, policy or regulatory projects, organizational assessments, engagement processes, workshops, research initiatives, business planning, or other advisory assignments across KASPRE’s service areas.

You will also play an important role within KASPRE by having the opportunity to mentor Consultants, contribute to business development, strengthen client relationships, and help us continually improve how we deliver our work.

What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on the engagement, responsibilities may include:

Leading consulting engagements from project initiation through final delivery.
Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, and client expectations.
Customizing project approaches, workplans, methodologies, engagement strategies, and implementation plans using KASPRE’s existing templates and processes.
Leading strategic and operational planning processes.
Conducting organizational reviews and developing practical recommendations to strengthen organizational performance.
Leading governance reviews, board effectiveness work, governance framework development, and related advisory assignments.
Leading or contributing to policy development, policy review, regulatory modernization, program reviews, jurisdictional scans, and evidence-informed research.
Designing and facilitating stakeholder and community engagement processes.
Facilitating strategic planning sessions, retreats, workshops, interviews, focus groups, and executive discussions.
Synthesizing complex qualitative and quantitative information into explicit findings and practical recommendations.
Preparing strategic plans, governance reports, policy documents, business cases, executive reports, presentations, briefing materials, and other professional deliverables.
Presenting findings and recommendations to executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, Chiefs and Councils, senior government officials, and other decision-makers.
Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and project partners.
Providing direction, feedback, mentorship, and quality assurance to Consultants and other project team members.
Reviewing project deliverables to ensure they meet KASPRE’s professional and quality standards.





Your role will involve both leadership of projects and delivery. Senior Consultants are expected to remain actively involved in the substance of the work rather than simply overseeing project administration.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a university degree in an area such as:

or another related discipline.

A master’s degree or relevant professional designation is considered an asset but is not required.

We are generally seeking candidates with approximately seven to fifteen years of progressively responsible professional experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education, consulting experience, leadership experience, and demonstrated expertise.

Previous consulting experience is highly desirable, but it is not the only pathway into this role.

We also welcome experienced professionals who have held progressively responsible positions within government, Indigenous organizations, Crown corporations, municipalities, healthcare, post-secondary institutions, non-profit organizations, industry, or other complex environments and are interested in applying their expertise in a consulting setting.

Experience working directly with executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, Chiefs and Councils, Deputy Ministers, Assistant Deputy Ministers, Chief Executive Officers, Executive Directors, or other senior organizational leaders is strongly preferred and is a core expectation of the Senior Consultant level.

While you will collaborate with Principal Consultants and Partners on complex or high‑profile engagements, you should be capable of independently leading most consulting projects from initiation through completion.

This is a part‑time contract position with flexible hours and project‑based assignments.

The position may be completed remotely or on a hybrid‑remote basis, with access to KASPRE’s shared office space at Path CoWork in Regina, Saskatchewan, depending on your location and preference.

The amount of work may fluctuate based on project requirements.

Senior Consultants should have sufficient availability to lead client engagements reliably, participate in daytime client meetings, and manage project commitments through to completion.

Some assignments may require occasional travel within Saskatchewan or elsewhere in Canada. Travel is fully compensated at agreed‑upon rates within the consulting contract.
