J&D; Smokin' Interiors is seeking a talented Drywaller/Taper to enhance our quality finish offerings. Your expertise will be critical in applying tape and joint compounds for a smooth, ready-to-paint surface.
Working with our family-owned company means being part of a supportive team. Your responsibilities will include hanging drywall, applying compounds, and preparing work areas to prevent imperfections. Attention to detail is key for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hang drywall as per project specifications
• Apply multiple compound coats and feather edges
• Install corner beads and tape for joint reinforcement
• Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing
• Mix compounds to achieve optimal consistency
Requirements:
• Current driver's license and dependable vehicle
• Proficiency in hand tools like knives and trowels
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and navigating heights
• Ability to perform repetitive arm movements
• Familiarity with drywall finishing processes is preferred
