WHO YOU ARE:

We are currently looking for an Product Developer/Buyer Assistant to join our Footwear and Handbag team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Footwear and Handbags and working closely with the team, you will be responsible to:
Communicate with suppliers, coordinate sample requests, negotiate costs and track production progress
Maintain and update internals systems, data entry, purchase order creation
Manage product data, samples, and technical packs
Attend fit sessions and collaborate with teams on product approval
Assist in preparing for sign offs, product and buying meetings and trade events
Monitor sales performance and assist in making data driven decisions
Conduct trend, market and competitor research to inform product development
Support additional projects and tasks as needed

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Completion of post-secondary education in a pertinent field of study
Minimum of two years of experience in a related role
Knowledge & experience in footwear and handbags a plus
Experience working with overseas suppliers
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PLM




Ability to work independently and in a team
Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills
Enjoys working in a rapid-paced and demanding environment
