Empower Simcoe is looking for a motivated Youth Worker Student to support youth with complex needs in engaging social settings. Your role will involve planning and leading activities during three-hour shifts on Thursday evenings. This position provides an prospect to foster inclusion and independence among youth with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement activities to engage youth in programs
• Assess and support individual goals for each participant
• Promote healthy interactions and community involvement
• Document progress and communicate with families




• Help facilitate camp experiences as required

Requirements:
• Must have completed secondary education and studying social services
• Previous experience with youth, especially those with exceptionalities
• Valid G class driver’s license required
• First Aid, CPR, N.V.C.I certifications needed
• Proven inclusive leadership and communication skills
