Role Description The Seasonal Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at the Mastermind Toys store in Woodbridge, ON. In this role, the associate greets customers, offers product guidance, and helps families discover toys and games that match their interests and developmental needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing friendly customer service, processing sales transactions, restocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

The associate may assist with seasonal promotions, gift-wrapping, and online order pickups,



while working collaboratively with the store team to meet sales and service goals. This role requires flexibility during peak periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

- Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage warmly with shoppers and provide helpful, product-focused guidance.
- Point-of-sale and cash handling skills, with accuracy in processing transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Organization and merchandising skills, such as restocking, visual display setup, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Communication and teamwork skills, including clear verbal communication and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move and lift merchandise safely, and work in a quick-paced, seasonal retail environment.
- Reliability and flexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is an asset, especially in toy, book, or specialty stores.
- Interest in toys, games, and child development, and a commitment to creating inclusive, positive experiences for all customers.
