Our Energy & Resources client is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to support and enhance OpenText Content Server and enterprise engineering systems

Join an Energy & Resources environment supporting critical engineering document management and enterprise information systems. This role focuses on the administration, support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of OpenText Content Server and related engineering applications across engineering, operations, GIS, and IT teams. The successful candidate will act as a key application owner supporting business-critical platforms within a complex enterprise environment.

Must Haves

- 8+ years as an Application Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Application Support Analyst supporting enterprise applications
- Hands-on administration and support of OpenText Content Server
- Experience with Borealis Management System
- Background supporting applications within engineering, asset management, utilities, energy, or industrial environments
- Experience with application support, troubleshooting, system administration, incidents, upgrades, and user support activities
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting ArcGIS or GIS-related platforms
- Experience with engineering document management, records management, or information governance solutions
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices
- Experience supporting multiple enterprise applications simultaneously

Responsibilities





- Support the day-to-day operation of OpenText Content Server and related engineering applications
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and user-reported incidents
- Perform application configuration, administration, maintenance, and system health monitoring
- Gather and document business requirements for application enhancements and process improvements
- Participate in application upgrades, testing, deployments, and enhancement initiatives
- Create and maintain application support documentation, procedures, and user guides
- Facilitate communication between business teams, vendors, and IT support groups
